GAC Motor and Huawei have collaborated to initiate the first pilot program for Valet Parking and Driving (VPD) technology at the departure level of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, setting a global precedent for the application of this technology at airport departure zones. The airport has undergone specific modifications to its departure level and parking lot infrastructure to accommodate this innovation. At the forefront of this pilot is the Xiangwang M8 Kunlun, equipped with Huawei's Kunlun Intelligent Driving system. Once the driver exits the vehicle at the departure level, the car autonomously navigates to the parking lot, drastically improving parking efficiency and convenience.
