Chengdu Bus has issued the nation's inaugural white paper on the "Integrated Vehicle-Road-Cloud System Joint Debugging" for autonomous buses, spotlighting the critical joint debugging phase preceding the deployment of autonomous bus systems. This document serves as a practical reference model for the industry. Utilizing Chengdu's pioneering autonomous bus route as a case study, the white paper delves into the processes of four pivotal stages, addressing the void of standardized guidance in this field within China. Furthermore, Chengdu's initial fleet of 6-meter L4 autonomous buses is poised for launch and will undergo open-road testing in the Future Science and Technology City. The route, spanning approximately 12 kilometers, will feature vehicles capable of transporting 16 passengers, equipped with comprehensive perception, decision-making, and control system modules.
