Leapmotor has officially unveiled its first store in Hong Kong, marking a significant milestone in its expansion into the Hong Kong market. This endeavor will be spearheaded by the domestic marketing team. Despite its relatively small size, the Hong Kong market holds immense strategic value as a global showcase and capital gateway. In the first five months of 2025, Leapmotor's cumulative export sales surpassed 17,000 units, positioning it at the forefront among domestic emerging players, with its overseas store count reaching approximately 500, predominantly in Europe. The company aims to finalize the locations for localized production facilities in Europe and Southeast Asia within the year. Last year, Leapmotor signed a KD project agreement with Myanmar, aiming to minimize costs through localized manufacturing. It is anticipated that the relevant layout will be completed by the end of 2025.
