A spokesperson from the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) disclosed that Wang Wentao and European Commission Executive Vice-President Sefcovic have engaged in thorough discussions on the price commitment aspect of the electric vehicle anti-subsidy dispute, with the goal of fostering a satisfactory resolution. The negotiations have now progressed to their final phase. Both parties will evaluate the viability of new technological pathways and direct their respective working groups to intensify their efforts towards resolving trade discrepancies in accordance with legal and World Trade Organization (WTO) regulations.
