The Board of Directors of BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. has announced the appointment of Birgit Böhm-Wannenwetsch as the new President and CEO, effective August 1, 2025. She will succeed Franz Decker, who will conclude his tenure in China on July 31 and return to Germany to assume the role of Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Technology at BMW Group. Böhm-Wannenwetsch brings with her a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, having previously headed BMW Group's financial services division in the Americas.
