Singapore's leading ride-hailing platform, Grab, will officially introduce 40 hybrid taxis in July, marking its entrance into the taxi industry. These taxis will maintain fare parity with other taxi companies. To incentivize drivers to join the platform, Grab will offer a bonus of up to SGD700 (approximately 3888 yuan) to the first 100 registered drivers. Additionally, taxi drivers will not incur any commission fees for picking up passengers on the street. Grab's strategic move aims to broaden its business scope while embracing the trend towards eco-friendly transportation.
