Exchange filings reveal that on June 3, Hyundai Motors sold its entire 2.47% stake in the Indian electric two-wheeler company Ola Electric for 5.52 billion Indian rupees. Meanwhile, Kia sold 0.6% of its stake at a price of 50.55 Indian rupees per share, amounting to approximately 6.89 billion Indian rupees (around $80 million). In 2019, Hyundai and Kia had jointly invested $300 million in Ola Electric with the aim of collaboratively developing electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
