According to the latest data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), the import volume of complete vehicles in April 2025 stood at 40,000 units, marking a 3.8% increase compared to March but a notable 21.8% decrease from the same period last year. The import value amounted to $2 billion, showing a 3.3% monthly increase and a 29% year-on-year decline. From January to April, the cumulative import volume of complete vehicles totaled 135,000 units, down 35.1% year-on-year, while the total import value reached $6.94 billion, reflecting a 40.8% decrease from the previous year.
