The number of newly registered Tesla vehicles in France continues to slide, a trend that stands in stark contrast to CEO Elon Musk's assertion last month that the company had rebounded from its earlier sales challenges this year. According to data released by Plateforme Automobile, the French Automobile Industry Association, Tesla sold merely 721 cars in France during May, marking a steep 67% year-over-year decrease. Notably, even with the introduction of the revamped and popular Model Y, its registration figures hit their lowest point since July 2022. As a result, Tesla's share price dipped by as much as 2.3% ahead of Monday's market open, exacerbating its year-to-date decline to 14%.
