BYD: In Talks with Multiple Premier Charging Operators to Accelerate Nationwide Deployment of Megawatt Flash Chargers

On May 31, 2025, at the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Auto Show, BYD unveiled its plans to collaborate with Xiaoju Charging to construct 10,000 megawatt flash charging stations, join forces with New Power to establish 5,000 more, and independently build 4,000 stations. To date, BYD has established over 500 megawatt flash charging stations, spanning more than 200 key cities across the nation. The company is currently in active negotiations with additional partners to facilitate the widespread adoption of megawatt flash charging technology throughout China.
