Bohai Automobile has unveiled plans to acquire a substantial portion of the equity in several key automotive-related enterprises through a combination of share issuance and cash payments. Specifically, the company intends to acquire 51% equity in Beijing Automotive Plastic, 51% in Langfang Adient, 100% in Zhilian Technology, and 50% in Leoni Wiring Systems, all of which are currently held by Beijing Hainachuan Auto Parts. Furthermore, Bohai Automobile aims to raise additional funds by issuing shares to no more than 35 specific investors.
This comprehensive transaction is anticipated to qualify as a significant asset restructuring and involve related party transactions. Consequently, the trading of Bohai Automobile's shares will be temporarily suspended, effective from June 3, 2025. The expected duration of this suspension is no longer than 10 trading days, during which time the company will proceed with the necessary preparations and formalities related to the transaction.
