On Wednesday, South Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy announced a government initiative to provide KRW 250 billion (roughly USD 182.4 million) in low-interest loans to small and medium-sized auto parts manufacturers by the end of next year. This measure aims to alleviate the financial strain caused by US tariff measures. Beginning in 2024, companies that export eco-friendly auto parts will be eligible to apply for these loans, with each company able to receive up to KRW 500 million in working capital.
