On May 26, Beijing distributed the quotas for new energy passenger cars for this year, with 118,400 designated for family applicants. The previous day, the Beijing Passenger Car Quota Regulation and Management Office released statistics indicating that over 340,000 families had submitted applications for these quotas. Since the total number of applications surpassed the available quotas, the allocation was determined by the cumulative points of each family. Today, the list of selected families along with the "score threshold" for obtaining new energy quotas has been publicly announced.
