On May 23, the State Administration for Market Regulation announced that BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. has submitted recall plan S2025M0065V. This plan involves recalling a total of 72 imported M1000R and M1000XR series motorcycles manufactured between September 27, 2024, and December 3, 2024. The recall is necessitated by the possibility of displacement of the inner valve pin within the steering shock absorber of these motorcycles, which could result in increased steering effort and present a safety risk. The recall is being carried out in adherence to the "Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and its associated implementation measures.
