Last night, Li Auto unveiled detailed specifications regarding the battery, energy efficiency, and range of its inaugural pure electric SUV, the i8. The i8 is offered in two variants, featuring 90.1 kWh and 97.8 kWh battery packs, respectively, promising a driving range of 670 km and 720 km under CLTC testing protocols. Initially, promotional materials indicated an exceptionally low energy consumption of 13.4 kWh/100 km and 13.6 kWh/100 km under CLTC conditions.
However, the company has since rectified this figure, adjusting the energy consumption rate to 14.6 kWh/100 km, aligning it more closely with industry standards and realistic expectations.
