Honda's Indian subsidiary has announced an investment of approximately 9.2 billion rupees (roughly $107 million) to expand its motorcycle manufacturing facility in Gujarat. This expansion will include the addition of a production line for 125cc motorcycles, which is anticipated to have an annual capacity of 650,000 units. Once completed, the total capacity of the plant will soar to 2.61 million units, positioning it as Honda's largest motorcycle assembly hub worldwide. The newly introduced production line is expected to commence operations in 2027.
