Owners of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra have requested refunds for their vehicles and deposits, citing the 'carbon fiber dual-airflow front hood' as a mere decorative element. This component was marketed with promises of 'efficient airflow guidance' and 'auxiliary cooling' capabilities, yet empirical tests have revealed no such airflow guidance structure. In response, Xiaomi Auto's customer service has clarified that within a 60-day window, owners can communicate their intentions to proceed with production. Failure to do so will be construed as abandonment of the vehicle, leading to forfeiture of the deposit. A number of owners are contemplating legal action against Xiaomi Auto for false advertising and are insisting on the continuation of vehicle production.
