Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has voiced his profound discontent with a recent report by the Wall Street Journal, labeling it as "damaging to the integrity of journalism." Musk asserted that the Wall Street Journal had published a deliberately misleading article without acknowledging Tesla's board of directors' prior explicit denial, which he viewed as a grave violation of professional ethics. Prior to this, the Wall Street Journal had reported that Tesla's board was contemplating the appointment of a successor to Musk, citing the decline in Tesla's share price and certain investors' dissatisfaction with Musk's involvement in White House activities. However, Tesla's Chairman, Robyn Denholm, subsequently clarified that the report about the board reaching out to executive search firms to identify a new CEO was "utterly false."
