On April 30, the Nansha District of Guangzhou hosted the unveiling ceremony for the "Autonomous Driving Test Base and Smart Transportation Demonstration Zone." During the event, WeRide, a Nasdaq-listed autonomous driving technology pioneer with operations across numerous countries and cities, was granted the first batch of road test licenses for autonomous driving equipment in the Nansha District. This license enables WeRide's autonomous logistics vehicle, the robovan W5, to conduct road tests within the district. This milestone signifies a significant step forward in advancing the commercial application of WeRide's autonomous driving technology.
