Last week, the sales ranking of emerging automakers in China's automotive market was unveiled. NIO Auto emerged as the leader with 9,170 units sold, followed closely by Lixiang and Xiaopeng in second and third positions, respectively. Tesla also recorded substantial sales, tallying 10,280 units. Notably, AITO and NIO experienced significant growth in their sales figures. According to data, from April 21 to 27, the total sales of passenger vehicles in the Chinese market amounted to 452,000 units, of which new energy passenger vehicles accounted for 238,000 units, marking a penetration rate of 52.58%.
