Shangjie's integrated vehicle manufacturing and battery support project has officially taken root in Lingang New Area, with ambitions to introduce its inaugural model during autumn 2025. During the signing ceremony, the Lingang New Area Management Committee entered into an investment agreement with SAIC Motor Corporation Limited and affiliated entities, encompassing the establishment of a production facility for premium intelligent new energy vehicles, along with a production project for power battery systems and components.
