Toyota intends to introduce hydrogen-powered electric trucks as part of its investment strategy in alternative fuel technologies. The Japanese automotive giant announced on Monday that its Class 8 heavy-duty electric trucks, fueled by hydrogen fuel cells, are engineered to minimize the reliance on diesel-powered tractor trailers at its North American Parts Center located in Southern California. These trucks have successfully concluded their pilot testing phase.
