Faraday Future (FF) has appointed Jia Yueting as its Co-CEO, partnering with Global CEO Matthias Aydt to oversee financial operations, legal affairs, and the supply chain. Jia Yueting has pledged to allocate half of his equity incentives towards repaying approximately US$2 billion in domestic debts, while the remaining half will be dedicated to the company's development. FF aims to bolster investments in R&D, accelerate new product launches, and expand its presence in both domestic and international markets.
Despite the FF91 2.0's delivery volumes falling short of expectations, FF has unveiled a new brand, Faraday X, with the inaugural model anticipated to hit the production line by the end of 2025. For the fiscal year 2024, FF reported a net loss of US$355.8 million and currently relies on external financing to sustain its operations.
