According to industry data released on Friday, UK car production experienced a notable uptick in March, fueled by heightened demand for British-built vehicles both domestically and internationally. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) reported that 79,018 cars were manufactured last month, marking a year-on-year increase of 17.1%. Nonetheless, despite this March surge, overall production for the first quarter of the year still fell by 6.3%.
