The A-share market concluded trading with a mixed bag of results. The Shanghai Composite Index dipped slightly by 0.1%, whereas the Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.67%, and the ChiNext Index surged ahead by 1.08%.
Gold stocks endured significant losses, with Chifeng Gold reaching its daily limit down and Sichuan Gold declining by over 9%. The agriculture, retail, and real estate sectors also fared poorly, as Guofang Group hit its daily limit down, Qiule Seeds fell by more than 8%, and Chongqing Real Estate Development dropped by over 7%.
On the brighter side, the automobile industry chain, chemical fiber, and energy equipment sectors shone brightly. Xiangyang Bearing, Jilin Chemical Fiber, and Shenkai Co. all hit their daily limit up, while BYD recorded gains of more than 4%.
