On April 23, Zhang Zhiyong, Executive Committee Member of GAC Group and General Manager of GAC Lingcheng, announced that the company intends to go public within the next five years. Concurrently, GAC Hino underwent a rebranding, transforming into GAC Lingcheng. As a pivotal component of GAC Group's commercial vehicle segment, GAC Lingcheng will now join Huawei's Supercharge Alliance and integrate self-developed pouch cells known as Deepsky. Regarding product offerings, GAC Commercial Vehicles has introduced its inaugural pickup truck model, the concept GAC PICKUP01, with the T9 model anticipated to officially debut in the latter half of this year.
