Honda has announced a collaboration with Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) to jointly create an advanced platform that seamlessly integrates batteries into the vehicle's body. Additionally, the two companies will embark on research and development of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, aiming to incorporate them into the third-generation YE series models.
