On April 23, the three primary A-share indices commenced trading on a positive note, with the Shanghai Composite Index opening 0.25% up, the Shenzhen Component Index gaining 0.87%, and the ChiNext Index soaring 1.14%. Sector-wise, the automobile, computer hardware, and energy industries emerged as standouts, driving market gains. Notably, BYD shares surged by over 6%, while Xiechuang Data advanced by more than 2%. Additionally, Deshi Co., Ltd. and BAIC BluePark both recorded increases exceeding 1%. Conversely, sectors such as water utilities, precious metals, and retail experienced notable declines. Guozhong Water Utilities plummeted by over 9%, Sichuan Gold fell by more than 8%, and Xujiahui dipped by over 1%.
