For the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, Tesla reported a total revenue of $19.335 billion, marking a 9% year-over-year decrease. Net profit for the quarter stood at $409 million, experiencing a significant drop of 71%. Additionally, automotive production and deliveries witnessed declines of 16% and 13%, respectively. Despite these unfavorable figures, Tesla's share price managed to rise by 2.90% during after-hours trading. Looking ahead, the company anticipates launching a more affordable model in the first half of 2025 and commencing mass production of the Cybercab from 2026.
