On the afternoon of April 22, coinciding with the eve of the Shanghai Auto Show, FAW Toyota officially commenced pre-sales for its latest electric vehicle, the bZ5. The company introduced two models: a 550km long-range variant and an L2 autonomous urban driving assist variant, priced attractively at under ¥130,000 and ¥160,000 respectively. From now until its official market launch in June, customers who place a ¥500 deposit will be eligible for a ¥5,000 discount on the purchase price.
