On April 21, at approximately 4 p.m., a flatbed truck carrying Wenjie M9 vehicles encountered a fire incident on the Yichang section of the G50 Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway, causing damage to several vehicles aboard. According to the statement released by Anji Automobile Logistics, the incident was triggered by a tire blowout resulting from brake overheating on the semi-trailer, which subsequently ignited the fire. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and the battery packs of the vehicles did not catch fire. Despite the immediate deployment of fire extinguishing equipment on site, it was unable to contain the spread of the blaze. Anji Automobile Logistics has requested the assistance of the supplier to manage the aftermath and jointly investigate the matter, ensuring the seamless transportation and delivery of new vehicles.
