On the eve of the Shanghai Auto Show, SAIC-GM convened a senior management communication session, during which General Manager Lu Xiao and other executives engaged in a dialogue with the media. Lu Xiao remarked that the Chinese market mirrors vast markets like the United States, where fuel vehicles are anticipated to maintain a market share of at least 25% in the foreseeable future. Plug-in hybrids and extended-range models have garnered significant consumer approval due to their ability to satisfy the demand for intelligent features without the anxiety of limited driving range. Consequently, SAIC-GM will foster the concurrent development of both fuel and electric vehicles.
