Buick has officially declared that every new model introduced in the Chinese market from 2025 onwards will exclusively be a new energy vehicle. Over the course of the next year, the brand will unveil six new energy vehicle models, each built on the cutting-edge 'Xiaoyao' architecture. This architecture boasts versatility, catering to a wide array of vehicle types and propulsion systems. Powertrain-wise, the Ultium platform will advance to version 2.0, integrating 6C LFP ultra-fast charging batteries capable of delivering an hour's worth of driving range with merely two minutes of charging. Regarding intelligent driving, Buick aims to achieve full L2++ autonomous driving deployment by 2025 and attain L3 capabilities by 2026, leveraging cabin-driving integration and multi-modal models that operate independently of high-precision maps.
