The Ministry of Finance has released a notification today, revealing that the initial allocation for energy conservation and emission reduction subsidies in 2025 surpasses 13.5 billion yuan. Out of this substantial sum, 2.91 billion yuan will originate from the central government's coffers and will be advanced to pilot projects. These funds aim to address deficiencies in county-level charging and battery swapping infrastructure in 2025, serving as incentive capital. Launched in 2024, this initiative supported 67 pilot counties that year. By the close of 2024, these pilot counties had successfully established over 2,700 charging stations with a combined capacity exceeding 120 kilowatts, achieving a cumulative charging capacity of 5.9 million kWh. This milestone significantly spurred investments in counties, bolstered the consumption of new energy vehicles, and accelerated the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. Furthermore, the central government has earmarked 2.34 billion yuan specifically to foster the demonstration and deployment of fuel cell vehicles.
