The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Baidu Apollo, heralding plans to initiate a pilot project for autonomous taxis this year, aiming for full-scale operations by 2026. Furthermore, the fleet is envisioned to grow to 1,000 vehicles within a span of three years.
