Tesla has reportedly postponed its plans to manufacture the affordable variant of the Model Y in the United States. Initially, the company had pledged to introduce this cost-effective model in the first half of this year to bolster sales. However, sources indicate that the budget-friendly Model Y, internally codenamed E41, which was originally slated for mass production in the US as the first batch, is now expected to face a delay of at least several months. This postponement could stretch into the third quarter of this year or even early next year.
