On April 18, the Qichacha APP revealed the establishment of two new companies: Qiji New Energy Technology (Shijiazhuang) Co., Ltd. and Qiji New Energy Technology (Liaocheng) Co., Ltd. These entities have been incorporated with registered capitals of 20 million yuan and 5 million yuan, respectively, and are led by Wu Lei and Chu Qingcai as their legal representatives. Their diverse business scope encompasses the research and development of cutting-edge energy technologies, the marketing of battery swapping infrastructure for new energy vehicles, the exploration of online energy metering technologies, and contract energy management services, among others.

According to the equity penetration insights provided by Qichacha, both of these newly formed companies are wholly owned subsidiaries of CATL's affiliates, specifically Qiji Green Energy Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and Qiji New Energy Technology (Qingdao) Co., Ltd.
