Tesla China is progressively introducing intelligent assisted driving features to vehicles equipped with HW 4.0 hardware. However, owners of HW 3.0 vehicles have voiced dissatisfaction over not receiving the feature they had previously purchased, with some demanding refunds of up to 64,000 yuan. In response, Tesla has stated that its team is currently finalizing the approval process for the intelligent assisted driving software compatible with both HW 3.0 and 4.0 hardware, and will deploy it as soon as it is approved. Legal experts have noted that Tesla's actions may constitute a breach of contract, suggesting that if the consumer's contractual objectives cannot be met, the corresponding payments should be refunded.
