During the 2025 China Electric Vehicle 100 Forum, key officials from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council unveiled an ambitious blueprint for strategically restructuring China's central automobile enterprises. The objective is to bolster industrial consolidation, unify research and development, manufacturing, and market resources among these enterprises, and forge a world-class automotive group that boasts global competitiveness, proprietary core technologies, and the capacity to spearhead the transition towards intelligent and connected vehicles. Furthermore, SASAC is urging central enterprises to intensify collaboration across multiple dimensions.
