In recent years, China's new energy vehicle industry has seen rapid growth, yet this surge has been accompanied by mounting maintenance challenges. By the end of 2024, the country boasted a fleet of 31.4 million new energy vehicles. However, the number of specialized maintenance enterprises for these vehicles stands at less than 20,000, and the professional maintenance workforce is even more scarce, totaling fewer than 100,000 individuals. This disparity translates into a ratio of approximately 300 new energy vehicles per maintenance technician, leaving many owners grappling with the conundrum of easy car acquisition but difficult servicing.
