Recently, Guangdong EHang General Aviation Co., Ltd. and Hefei Heyi Aviation Co., Ltd. have secured the Civil Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Operating Certificate (OC) from the Civil Aviation Administration of China. EHang General Aviation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EHang Holdings Limited, specializes in the operation of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) services. On the other hand, Heyi Aviation is a collaborative venture between the Hefei state-owned asset platform and EHang Holdings Limited. This achievement signifies that both companies are now authorized to conduct commercial operations and offer manned and unmanned aerial services within the approved regions, marking a pivotal moment in the official advent of the commercialization era for the low-altitude economy.
