These solid-state batteries boast an impressive energy density of up to 400Wh/kg, enabling a driving range of up to 1,500 kilometers, and offer a significant 70% improvement in safety when compared to traditional liquid batteries. According to Deng Chenghao, Vice President of Changan Auto, large-scale commercialization of solid-state batteries may not materialize until after 2030.
