According to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) on March 25, passenger car registrations in the EU, UK, and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) declined by 3.1% year-on-year in February. Despite this decline, Tesla's market share in these regions dipped to 1.8%. However, within the electric vehicle segment, Tesla's share stood strong at 10.3%. Notably, electric vehicles accounted for 58.4% of all newly registered vehicles in the EU during the same period.
