During a recent sharing session, Li Bin, the founder of NIO, disclosed that the company had first introduced the NVIDIA Orin-X chip in 2022 and subsequently invested US$300 million in 2024 to procure 800,000 NVIDIA chips. Each NIO vehicle is equipped with four of these chips. Additionally, Li Bin introduced NIO's self-developed chip, the Shenji NX903, which has successfully completed tape-out and is poised for integration into future NIO models.
