On March 24, Tesla's official customer support account on Weibo responded to the news of "suspending FSD deployment" in the comments section of Vice President Tao Lin's Weibo post. Tesla acknowledged that its smart assisted driving function has garnered significant attention in China and expressed gratitude to car owners for their continued support and valuable feedback. In compliance with the newly issued "Notice on Further Strengthening the Administration of Product Access, Recall, and Software Over-the-Air Updates for Intelligent Connected Vehicles," the Tesla team is diligently working to complete the approval process for the smart assisted driving software compatible with hardware versions 3.0 and 4.0. All parties involved are actively progressing the relevant procedures, and upon completion, the software will be promptly rolled out to car owners.
