In its most recent "Ask and We'll Answer" column, LeDao Auto, a subsidiary of NIO, has clarified that despite the potential to enhance kinetic energy recovery, the LeDao L60 does not currently plan to offer a single-pedal driving mode. This decision stems from concerns that such a mode could alter driving habits and elevate the risk of pedal misoperation in emergency situations. Furthermore, the draft for comments on the GB21670 standard specifies that the single-pedal mode must be manually activated each time the vehicle is powered on and cannot be set as the default mode. As a result, LeDao advises users against over-reliance on the single-pedal mode.
