Xiaomi's SU7 has surpassed cumulative sales of 320,000 units, with over 180,000 vehicles already delivered, leaving a backlog of more than 150,000 pending orders. The company's first-phase factory, situated in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, boasts an annual production capacity of 300,000 units, which is currently nearing full capacity. Anticipating this growth, the second-phase factory is expected to commence operations in June 2025, significantly augmenting production capabilities. Furthermore, Xiaomi will introduce its inaugural pure electric SUV, the YU7, in June, amidst expectations that production capacity will continue to face challenges.
