The Thalys Automobile Legal Department has released a statement concerning Wu Moumou, who falsely created and disseminated rumors on the Douyin platform regarding a fatal accident involving an AITO vehicle. The Legal Department swiftly secured the evidence and reported the matter to the relevant public security authorities. On February 27th, the public security organs determined that Wu Moumou was suspected of spreading rumors and imposed penalties in accordance with the Public Security Administration Punishments Law of the People's Republic of China. On the same day, Wu Moumou issued a public apology accompanied by a handwritten pledge, vowing to remove all pertinent illegal comments and videos and to refrain from publishing or reposting any defamatory content in the future.
