On March 2, 2025, BYD and DJI collaborated to introduce the groundbreaking smart car-mounted drone system, dubbed "Lingyuan," in Shenzhen. This innovative system endows vehicles with vertical vision capabilities, fostering seamless vehicle-drone integration and promising to be integrated across all BYD's brand models. Notably, the battery-swapping variant of the Lingyuan system will be predominantly featured on BYD's Yangwang brand, whereas the fast-charging version will be deployed across the Dynasty, Ocean, Denza, and Fangchengbao lines. The comprehensive Lingyuan smart car-mounted drone system, in its fast-charging configuration, is priced at an attractive 16,000 yuan.
