Tesla China's official website has announced the discontinuation of the first edition of the Model Y, making way for the availability of the new standard version at the same price points. The rear-wheel-drive variant is priced at RMB 263,500, while the long-range all-wheel-drive version retails for RMB 303,500. The standard version comes with a few configuration adjustments, including the removal of certain features and the complimentary extended warranty. Additionally, Tesla has unveiled a revamped "Special Charging Benefits" package, priced between RMB 1,299 and RMB 3,299. Design-wise, intelligent driving capabilities, interior features, and power specifications remain consistent with the first edition of the Model Y. However, the battery packs vary across different drive versions, resulting in differences in driving range and charging capabilities.
